Google People Search HowTo – Part 1


Introduction

It looks incredible, but Google search engine can help you to find people in Web, to see their interests and Internet activity, investigate sites they visits and other usefull things.

Suppose, we want to gather information about stranger person. We can use any search engine to do this action, but Google have most useful language of search queries this advanced features.

Google People Search has started from this items:
1) person’s name and surname;
2) place there living;
3) e-mail or other contact information like an ICQ number or MSN Messenger nick;
4) nickname in forum or guestbook.

It’s well known fact when people try to use the same nickname and passwords in forums, so you can find them really easy if you want.

If we’ve only name and surname of our person, it’s difficult to catch him without any additional information such as place of living, occupation, hobbies, interest and other identification tips.

Searching John Chow

In the starting we can query our person’s name in search engine to see how many people with the same name Google knows and who they’re.

For example, we want to find any information about famous blogger John Chow. We want to know all about him – where he was born, how old, where working or studying now etc. It seems like CIA investigation.

So we’ll query “John Chow” in Google and find 260 000 pages about. Hmmm.. he’s really famous person.

First aim is to find John’s Curriculum vitae. Our query is
“john chow” (”Curriculum vitae” OR cv)

Google have found 1320 pages and there are CVs of other people, but not our John Chow. Sure, that’s sad, but we only starting.

Next, we want to know something about biography. Our query “john chow” “was born in” shows several persons named John Chow, but we want to find blogger John Chow.

As a man who was born in China but now lives in Canada, who would prefer win…
My name is John Chow and I’m from Vancouver Canada but I was born in a small village in Mainland China…

It’s interesting to find all forums where John registered and post something. Try this query:

“John Chow” inurl:forum

There’are a lot of different forums where John posts and where talk about John. We need only John profiles:

“John Chow” inurl:profile

Ha-ha, Google show all profiles of our person. Now we can investigate all he says after registration everywhere.
